Mary Anne Reuschling spoke at the 2012 Hexagon Worldwide
User’s Group Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. TransCon Imaging
Solutions will receive the latest training on the various software
applications and uses for the Leica ScanStation C10. Training classes include: scanning for Building Information Modeling (BIM); “As-builts”, documentation of historic structures, meeting the Daubert standard for
courtroom technology, HDS uses in accident reconstruction, airport
pre-event planning (Homeland Security), officer involved shootings
including scanning of trajectory rods emanating from a vehicle
and 3D modeling.

Transportation Federal Railroad Administration

TransCon’s President, Mary Anne Reuschling, was invited to present our
3D laser scanning technology to The U.S. Department of Transportation
Federal Railroad Administration on November 15, 2011 at their headquarters
in Washington, DC. Among the many features discussed was the use of
3D laser scanning to document existing conditions at high risk rail/roadway
crossings in an effort to reduce accidents and/or injuries.

TransCon Imaging Solutions was recently selected for a 3 year
“on-call” open contract with the city of Annapolis’ Historic Preservation
Division for 3D laser scanning support services. TransCon will assist
Historic Engineers/Architects and Preservation professionals in properly
documenting Historic structures through the use of our 3D laser
scanning technology. Once documented, blueprints that may be
otherwise unavailable can be created.

with other industry leaders, and meet with federal government officials.

Mary Anne Reuschling and Glen Reuschling presented our 3DTransCon Imaging Solutions exhibiting at the Maryland Municipal League Convention
laser scanning technology at the Maryland Construction & Materials Conference at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Cambridge, Maryland. Among the topics discussed were volumetric calculations of stockpiles, scanning of quarries, bridges, roadways, infrastructures and building information modeling (3D BIM). Members from The Maryland Transportation Builders and Materials Association, Inc., The Maryland Ready Mix Concrete Association Inc., and The Maryland Asphalt Association, Inc. were all in attendance.

TransCon Imaging Solutions participated at the Maryland
Municipal League Conference in Ocean City, Maryland, to
demonstrate the 3D laser scanning technology and the variety
of uses for government entities. Among the uses were 3D laser
scanning of crime scenes for law enforcement; bridges, tunnels,
and roadways for transportation departments; and 3D scanning
documentation of underground utilities and overhead power lines.
